Our story
The Play Therapy Centre was founded out of a shared passion for transforming children's lives through play. Gemma and Stella, two leading Play Therapists in the Gulf region, joined forces after a successful collaboration. Both were the first Accredited Play Therapists in the region, with Gemma bringing over 15 years of experience in Play therapy, including her work at Al Jalila Hospital, and Stella contributing 8 years of expertise as Play Therapist in the educational sector. Together, they established the Play Therapy Centre to revolutionize therapy in the region by adhering to UK and international standards. Their approach focuses on Child-Centered Play Therapy, offering innovative services tailored to each child's unique needs. In a safe, nurturing environment, they empower children to heal, grow, and thrive. Their mission is to redefine therapeutic practices and set a new benchmark for excellence in child mental health.
